They didn't have many reservation availabilities online but when we came at ~5:30-6pm on a weekday we were able to get seated immediately. the service was great and she checked in on us multiple times. My favorite dish was the scallop gratin - fresh scallops and leek cooked tenderly in a creamy base and the breadcrumbs added a nice crispy texture! My entree (pork chop) was well cooked but nothing toooooo mindblowing, though the pommes puree and mushrooms were tasty. A little on the pricey side!

Been dying to try this spot and we LOVED it! Such a cute ambiance with lovely decor and sky lighting, perfect place to take parents and family. The service was amazing, they were so attentive and friendly. I would say this is one of the best burgers I've had in DC.. need to come back for dinner! Everything was cooked to perfection and tasted like high quality ingredients. Couldn't recommend this spot enough, grab a reservation 2 weeks out!

Perfect French gem in Georgetown. Great service and food that packs a punch. They have great cocktails available (recommend the corpsican reviver and the bitters bees knees). For food, the onion soup is a classic and a staple. Tons of ooey gooey cheese and delicious broth. For mains we got the yellowfin tuna (very much like a Niçoise salad...but not a salad) and the burger. The burger is to die for. Saucy, two smash patties, cheese, sautéed onions, perfectly crispy fries. We'll come back just for that burger it was so good. Ended the evening with olive oil cake with berry compote which was just the right amount of sweet and not too rich. We cannot wait to come back next time we're in town!

I rarely take the time to write reviews but I knew I had to after having an amazing meal here! My friend and I were exploring Georgetown and stumbled upon this cozy restaurant. We walked in around 5pm on a Friday and they were all booked for the rest of the night, but luckily the hostess offered us seating at the tiny bar (definitely only big enough to seat 2). We had the betteraves (beet salad) as an appetizer and it was simple but refreshing. We weren't very hungry so we shared the moules frites (mussels) entree and it was DIVINE. Easily the best item of the night-I would come back just for that flavorful creamy sauce. What really made our experience was the service from our bartender Hernan! He always made sure our waters were filled and checked in on us often making sure we were always taken care of. He made an amazing French martini and also brought us extra bread. Overall a 10/10 experience and would definitely recommend to anyone craving French cuisine in Georgetown!

A very tasty meal in Georgetown! I enjoyed my experience at this intimate and cozy restaurant. The food was very good! I loved the scallop appetizer and was very impressed by the entrees too. The duck confit was cooked perfectly, although the sauce was just a tad too salty. The pasta similarly was very good! The prices are a little high, but not out of the ordinary for Georgetown. Service was fine, though nothing crazy in either direction. I enjoyed this experience!

This has been a long awaited review. I've been to chez Billy sud quite a few times. It's a staple restaurant for me in this area. I've sat at their restaurant, but normally sit at the bar area of their cocktail bar, called Bar a Vin, but they serve the same menu so it doesn't matter. Everything on the menu is delicious. I've had their duck, their mussels, burgers, sandwiches, desserts, almost everything and nothing disappoints. The service is so nice - the first time I went was alone and the bartenders were very friendly to me. The ambiance is nice - a bit of a speakeasy /cocktail vibe, but I never feel like I need to fit that vibe to go there. I normally go in whatever I'm wearing after shopping around Georgetown.

Ordered their zero proof drink, AMAZING!! Nicely balanced, not too sweet, with rosemary-highly recommended! Also got the cheese plate, and chicken pate. Cheese was delicious!! Perfect pairings with the honey, raisin bread, and hint of spice candied pecans. Chicken pate was too sweet for my taste. Also ordered the steak frites. Steak was delicious, frites were cool and droopy. They were redone, and hot, but still droopy. Disappointing, but the effort was appreciated. The béarnaise was excellent. Service was lovely, and the ambience was quiet in the early evening, growing more lively as the evening progressed. The chocolate Creme de pot was dessert, again, too sweet and not rich enough chocolate flavor. Room for improvement, but happy for their reopening.

Walking into this restaurant gives you the feeling of stepping into Paris. Beautifully decorated with classic paintings, wall molding, and tasteful table settings it has a timeless elegance. This bistro is a great spot for a date or a nicer dinner with visitors. Every course was delicious. We started with the steak tartare with fun dots of mustard. I had the sea bass or Luop De Mar for my main, and it was cooked to melt perfectly in your mouth. The extra bread came in handy because the sauce was so good I couldn't resist dipping it. We had chocolate mousse to end. The service was fast and attentive! It is easily one of my favorite spots in Georgetown.
